SEVENTH VOID: CD-Release Party To Be Broadcast Live
April 21, 2009To help commemorate the release of SEVENTH VOID's debut CD, "Heaven Is Gone", Beat Down TV, America's #1 online fight show, will broadcast live from tonight's official CD release party from The Clubhouse in Dallas, Texas, the club owned by drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott (HELLYEAH, DAMAGEPLAN, PANTERA).
Spotlighting fighters, gyms, trainers, and ring girls as well as bands and musicians with an "edgy" sound that fits the whole fight theme, Beat Down TV is at the forefront of all things hard and heavy in all senses of the word. The show is the highest-rated Internet fight show in the country and is an overwhelming fan favorite on the cable outlets on which it's televised.
Beat Down TV will cater to SEVENTH VOID fans worldwide — allowing them to witness exclusive live performance footage and in-depth interviews with the members of SEVENTH VOID as well as a few surprise guests.
To catch all the action, fans are urged to log on to the live stream by going to www.beatdowntv.com beginning tonight, April 21 at 9:00 p.m. CST / 10:00 p.m. EST.
SEVENTH VOID features in its ranks TYPE O NEGATIVE guitarist Kenny Hickey and drummer Johnny Kelly.
"Heaven Is Gone" is being released via Big Vin Records, the label formed by HELLYEAH/ex-PANTERA drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott. "It's an amazing record," Vinnie recently said. "I mixed the whole thing for the guys. It goes somehere between SOUNDGARDEN meets BLACK SABBATH meets a little AUDIOSLAVE, with some TYPE O thrown in there. It's really nice, dark, sludgy… Kenny's vocals are great."
Rounded out by bassist Hank Hell (INHUMAN) and guitarist Matt Brown (ex-SUPERMASSIV),SEVENTH VOID continues TYPE O's tradition of slow, heavy riffs and existential lyrics, but with a slightly sludgier, "stonier" flavor.
SEVENTH VOID will support STATIC-X on a number of shows in May.
